Motif Future/ Improved Operating System
Modular Access Design Path

It would be good to know what is possible and how this might change things if Motif was built to be future proof.

The keybed's are evergreen and ideally it would be great to properly separate the various items of workstation, and bring them together so no one part imprisons the rest of it.

Thunderbolt/USB3 would mean recording out multi track including separate stereo ports for the drums, and should mean no bottleneck for 192kHz. Exporting and importing voices/ samples/ midi performances to software choices is a part of it.

An SSD internally would mean faster start ups. kHz options up to 192 would honour some of the new hardware regarding lossless music listening sound devices - ie Apogee

Korg's Oasis was modular, but future proofing is essential to reduce waste.

Buying another Motif is desirable, but seeing a better more efficient package is important. Workstations are too heavy on their own, and too insular.

That's my belief at the moment.

Devices Software currently used:
Motif XS8/ Kurzweil 88 Notes/ Logic/ Ableton/ FLoops/ Mac/ PC/ UAudio Apollo/ Hollywood Strings
