Yamaha, please make the Yamaha Steinberg Firewire Driver operable on Apple Silicon machines. This would allow the Yamaha FW16E expansion boards to work with the new Mac CPU platform. This board allows for deep integration between the Motif XF and the computer-based production. Yamaha products are amazing. The Motif XF is amazing. (I wish I could purchase a Montage, but I must wait.) There is a lot of learning curve for the Motif XF, but it is worth it. Due to the time investment in learning the wonderful Motif XF, I am not ready to abandon it. If Yamaha were to provide a driver for the FW16E for Apple Silicon, I would continue to feel comfortable with my time investment in deep, rewarding Yamaha hardware keyboards.

I am not demanding or expecting this. I am hoping for it. I am trying to make a convincing argument that years-long support of deep, rewarding hardware fosters a natural high reputation for the instrument as the Yamaha community's passion grows stronger. I imagine more people knowing and exhibiting deep use of a Yamaha synthesizer amplifies sales.
