Hello. I've read several posts in this forum related to VST connections and port issues.
You gave a great reply to my query a couple weeks ago re DAW uses with the XF. I'm using another DAW but surprisingly I was able to connect with the Motif VST the forst attempt. I then noticed in the autosync page of the editor that port 1 was not communicating (not set up) but port 4 was connected.
Long story short, I've not been able to duplicate this connection. I keep getting "port open" message when I click Start in the autosync page.
EDIT NOTE: The editor DOES connect successfully in The standalone mode?
Knowing this, does it shed any light on the Open Port message I get in the DAW when trying to sync? Is it a DAW issue in your opinion?

I'm sorry, there is not enough information for me to reply.
The editor DOES connect successfully in The standalone mode?
With the information provided, I recommend you use the Editor in standalone mode
