XS rack tuning problem

Hi all,
After one year, my motif XS rack firmware is having a problem with tuning. At random, a single note will be flat. It will stay flat as long as I sustain that pitch (keep the key depressed). When I release that key and repeat that pitch, it will be in tune. After 15 seconds to 2 minutes, this will happen again on a different pitch. It happens on some voices more than others. My hands are nowhere near the pitch or modulation wheels. I have tried 3 different controller keyboards with the same result. As well as different midi cables. And with 4 different DAWs.

The attached link

demonstrates the problem. At :05 - :07 melody note (d) is flat; the same pitch at :09 is in tune. A different pitch (c#) is flat at :31; at :33 it is in tune again.

If this flattening has happened while recording a midi file, when I play back that midi file, the original flat note will be in tune, but the flattening will happen on a different note. When I open the midi file, I don't see any messages that would indicate a lowering of pitch.

This link demonstrates:

In the first example you can hear the sustained flat note which occurred as I initially recorded the track. In the next example I replay the midi track, and now that sustained note is no longer flat. In the third example i replay the same midi file, and the flattening occurs on a different note, which was NOT flat the first time I recorded the track. The last example is the same midi file, now performing a different XS voice. You can hear it play a different flat note, which again, was not flat when I first recorded the midi track.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does the unit need to go the Yamaha doctor?

Thanks for any advice.
