I am trying to install and use a FL1024M on moxf8. I installed it properly and formatted it ( 1022MB after formatting). When I try to load a library I got an error saying the flash board is not installed. Then it indicates it has 0MB space remaining. When I powered of and turned it back on. I get the same error message "unrecognized flash memory module. ..." I removed and reinstalled the card. Same behavior is show. I can return this card for a new one but I want to ask this forum for an answer first. I saw few discussions about this on the net. Some suggest it could be a bad mainboard in the synth too. I would appreciate if anyone from Yamaha help me with this issue. Thanks.

You probably should call Customer Support and speak with a specialist.

I have the same problem. I just received the 512 board + usb thumb drive for the 40th anniversary rebate.
I will try customer support (accepting suggestions on fastest route to customer service in Los Angeles suburbs area).
Hopefully it is nothing serious.
