Wonder if it's possible to have an assignable function button mute and unmet a part in a performance? That would be a great benefit.

There is a dedicated PART MUTE button for each of the four Parts of a Performance.
When in Performance mode, press [PERFORMANCE CONTROL]
The functions are written by the buttons. Page 34 Owner's Manual
