So I recently bought an MOXF6, and am looking to set up Cubase. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any guidance on how big/powerful a computer is needed. Is the Windows laptop I have: Toshiba i5-based with 4G enough to get started, or is that doomed to fail and I need something with more CPU and/or RAM? I'm not planning to use it to score movies (at least not yet 🙂 - if it can handle 5-6 tracks of a 5 minute song that will be enough to get started....

You'll want to install and select Cubase AI... AI is Advanced Integration and will give you special functions for Yamaha hardware.

Many thanks, Bad Mister. The info at the bottom confirms what I hoped/suspected - I'll be able to get *started* on the laptop I have handy, but I'll probably need bigger hardware once I learn enough to build bigger projects.
