Good Morning!
This is my first post. I've owned my MOXF8 for a few years. I've created several projects thru "pattern mode" and "song mode".
I need to transfer them to my laptop. I would like to share my creations.
Cubase came with my keyboard but the setup process was way above my head (verify, licensure, re-enter , etc) I could not get it to work.
I bought reaper with my first keyboard. I had my old yamaha (mm6) connected via audio interface. I bought the yamaha audiogram 3. That was many years ago

I've tried to follow the instructions posted but I don't have enough knowledge to keep up. I know that I am missing something..
Is there a visual tutorial on how to set up CUBASE or how to connect to reaper? I believe I have all of the equipment needed. I'm just too inexperienced.

Is it too late for me to learn?

Jerome

It's not too late to learn. It's true that just installing Cubase requires a lot more description than "click on the setup icon, and keep pressing OK". This is due primarily to authenticate purchases and combat software piracy.

Searching videos for "install cubase step by step" I find lots of tutorials out there.

Here's a previous discussion: https://yamahasynth.com/ask-a-question/elicenser-code-to-activate-cubase-ai

... it likely has a focus on an older version of Cubase - so some of the screens may vary.
