Hello
I recently bought a Moxf8 + Yamaha FL1024M Flash Memory Expansion. I tried to load all the contents of "Inspiration in a flash" and "CP1 piano". Does the Moxf load all these sounds in a User Bank automatically?. After i loaded all the contents of "Inspiration in a flash" i tried to do the same with the "CP1". But when i tried to play the sounds of "Inspiration in a flash" i couldn't find them. Then, i restore the factory set sounds and i realized all the Users Bank were filled with sounds. Do i have to choose between those sounds or the new ones?. I'd appreciate if someone could explain to me these issues.
Thank you very much

The CP1 piano sounds will use 16 of the available user voices if you load them all. The Inspiration In A Flash will consume all three user banks.

So in short, yes you have to choose which you actually want to use as you cannot have all the voices from both libraries - there isn't room on the MOXF8.

This should be helpful:

The document linked to in my last reply explains how to load banks (or individual voices) into your MOFX8. I'm looking to do the same thing as you - have CP1 pianos and Inspiration In A Flash sounds loaded onto an MOXF8 + FL1024M (when they arrive - they're not here yet but I'm getting prepared!).

I'm planning to use all of the CP1 Piano library (I can never have too many pianos!), some of the Inspiration In A Flash library, plus some 3rd party stuff (Vintage Keys from DCP and CP70 from Keyboard Waves). The 1GB board will not take all the data from these libraries so I will be selective!

You might also find this article (in the link below) useful. It recommends (and details the process for) loading banks of sounds, formatting the board and then only loading the sounds you really want, one by one, to the flash board and then backing up your synth (see the "post-script" at the end of the article).
