I would like to connect my moXF6 via USB Midi with my iPhone X to get my played notes into the app "Simply Piano".
My phone and my cable shouldn't be the problem. I've did a test with an e-piano and this have worked without any problems.
So it must be a problem of my moXF6 🙁
I've never used the midi output. Do I have to activate the midi output?

You need to connect your MOXF’s “TO HOST” Port to your iPhone using a USB cable and a LUCA (Lightning to USB Camera Adapter) and set the MOXF to MIDI I/O = USB
Press [UTILITY]
Press [F6] MIDI
Press [SF4] OTHER
Set MIDI I/O = USB
Sorry we don’t know the App you are talking about.
What version firmware is your MOXF? Latest is V1.12

Thanks for your fast answer.
This is exactly what I've done. Cable is connected at "To Host" USB Port. I have the correct adapter. The cable + adapter is working with another keyboard.
MIDI I/O was already set to USB
Where can I check the firmware?

Press [UTILITY] and then press [JOB]
The firmware will be shown: “Firm: V* . **”

I'm using 1.01 - So I think I should update firmware and try again?

The update fixes an issue with iPhone connectivity, so yes, absolutely
