How do I set this up with a momentary switch or other to control on and off of a kick drum . A single note

The only MOXF "controller" that sends Note-On messages is the Keyboard.
There are external devices that can be programmed to send a Note-on event via MIDI to trigger a Kick drum. Example, Yamaha MFC10
