On the S90xs in MULTI mode I can set any of the 16 tracks on channel 1 to have them sound for live play. I can't get it to work in MOXF8 in Song mode- when I change any track OUT CH to 1, that track plays the sound of track 1. How to get tracks to all sound for live play? thanks

Mike, you are badly mixing up "Tracks" with "Parts".

The S90XS has no tracks, it's Multi has 16 Parts. On the S90XS you were setting each of the 16 Parts to receive on Channel 1.
If you do the same on the MOXF you'll get the same result.

Track - a location on a MIDI sequencer where MIDI events can be documented, edited and played back. Tracks transmit data when played back.
Part - a synthesizer Voice is assigned to one of multiple slots (Parts) and each slot can have a receive channel. Parts receive MIDI data

The MOXF has a sequencer that can record. Each Sequencer Track can be set to transmit on a different channel. By default they are set 1-16, leave them that way

What you want to change is the Receive Channel of each Part.
Press [SONG] or [PATTERN] - they work the same.
Press [MIXING] - same as MULTI on an S90XS
Press [EDIT]
Press a Track button 1-16 Each Track has an associated Part 1-16
Start with [1]
Press [F1] VOICE
Press [SF2] MODE
Here you can set the Rcv Ch (Receive Channel) for the synthesizers Parts. Initially, they are set 1-16, but you can change them as you desire. This should look somewhat familiar from the S90 XS.
