If all went right, I have a MOXF Premium Contents Pack heading my direction. I'm curious exactly what is in this package. I've seen the following:

2GB of premium Voice & Sample library content, including:
Chick Corea’s Mark V electric piano
Yamaha Ultimate Piano collection
CS80 Voice and Sample library
EDM Expansion Voice and Sample library
UJ Voices Voice library

Is there more content? For example, Inspiration in a Flash, or Peter Jung's Symphonic Orchestral Library? Can anyone tell me what the UJ Voices library contains?

I'm looking for orchestral voices, so if Peter Jung's library is not included the next question is going to be how I can get it...

Thanks,
Clif

Hi Clifton, maybe I can give you some more information, even though I have purchased the "Motif XF" version of the "40th Anniversary Pack" for my MOXF, which has a slightly different content. That's why I'm not 100% sure, but maybe you can take a look at the official Yamaha download site for MOXF content first (refer to http://download.yamaha.com/search/product/?site=usa.yamaha.com&language=en&category_id1=16277&category_id2=16381&category_id3=&product_id=1816956 ). At least you can find the MOXF version of the "Inspiration In A Flash" library there as a free Yamaha download content, and you'd also have a good chance that the free "EDM" and the "UJ" libraries there might also match with the ones included in your MOXF "40th Anniversary Pack" you will be receiving shortly - just let us know.

Related to your other question, Peter Jung's "Symphonic Orchestra Library", this has been released here in Europe end of 2011 as a free X-mas goodie. You can still try to get it via Yamaha Europe; the process for registering and requesting that content is described in the "Music Production Guide", Issue 10/2011. Hope that helps.

As the "edit" functionality for previous postings seems to be currently not working (or it is disabled at the moment - there's always an error message "Unable to load composer", again the correct reference to the link I mentioned above:
http://download.yamaha.com/search/product/?language=en&site=usa.yamaha.com&category_id=16381&product_id=1816956
Now the link should work πŸ˜‰

Copied form another post:

"Inspiration In A Flash + Peter Jungs Symphonic Orchestra for Motif XF*: Write an E-Mail with the subject
"MOTIF XF Inspiration & Symphonic" to xfgoodies@easysounds.de"

These files can be loaded in the MOXF with 512MB flashram. The Orchestral sounds are pretty OK.

Thank you Martin and Gris! I checked out the link. I'll reply back to this thread when I get my Premium Contents pack and compare the contents with what is on the site.

Gris, I did send the email and downloaded the Peter Jung voices. Now I need the flash card. I also read your thread about getting orchestral sounds and as a beginner I'm learning how to get realistic sounds from my MOXF. But I do know that the internal ROM does not have a loud choir (the Nativity patch is lovely for a quieter choir). But articulations on strings -- that's gonna get complicated in a hurry.

Hi Clifton,

as for the UJ, my guess is that the sounds were created by (my favourite) keyboard demo guy Katsunori Ujiie (musictrackjp on youtube)

http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/viewthread/475144/

If i remember correctly, it contained Rhodes, pianos and the like.

So I can confirm what this pack contains because I got it two days ago. That was really quick.

1. Chick Corea's Mark V Electric Piano waveforms and voices
2. CS80 waveforms and voices
3. EDM expansion pack
4. Inspiration in a Flash
5. UJ Voices
6. Ultimate Piano

The Peter Jung Symphonic Orchestral voices were not in the collection but I was able to get them from Yamaha Europe using the email above.

I think the data is the same as what is on the website listed above, but the file formats are different and I would have to load them to be sure. That takes way too long.

Thanks for all the information and replies!
