Hello,
The MX88 doesn`t have a DAW Level slider like the MOFX, but the function is inside a menu.
Is it possible to assign the DAW Level function to the Assign 1 or 2 rotary knob?

No. I’m afraid not. The Assign Knobs send Control Change messages on the selected MIDI transmit channel. And when you place the MX in DAW REMOTE mode the Knobs are A-B-C-D and are Assignable to functions within the DAW - total DAW RETURN is not an available Assignable parameter (as far as I know)
