Frequently, when I'm playing held notes on the mx61, the song be just a totally cuts out. The voices just stop. Almost like I've run out of polyphony, which isn't likely since often it's only 2 or 3 notes. Holding them down, suddenly gone...
It happened with my mx49 as well.

The MX does not have a Song mode, so there is something or some information you have not provided. If you are connected to a computer or other sequencing device, the issue could be in your setup or connection to that unnamed device. Certainly worth mentioning it in your post, anyway. Incorrect configuration can cause your problem...
Also if you have selected a mono Part, even 2-3 notes can make is sound like it ran out of polyphony... Because it's designed to play just 1 (mono).
So without much more information we cannot really help you. Let us know, what your doing. The MX has 128 notes of polyphony when setup properly.
