Using a Yamaha MX61 with Logic and i want to select the voices on my MX61 from Logic. Is there a downloadable patch list for calling up voices from Logic Pro X?
Essentially it would be a download of patch files that I can copy into the Instrument Folder that Logic brings up in the library that will allow me to select the voices on the MX61.

I also tried searching for Logic Environments for MX61 without any luck.

I believe Logic has a way to import this file. Once imported you should be able to get to all the voices.

I tried opening the .xml file with logic. Error msg: "the file couldn't be opened."
I also tried importing the file via mxml, but logic states that the file is not an music .xml file.
Am I missing something?

I believe Logic has a way to import this file. Once imported you should be able to get to all the voices.

I also tried renaming the extension to .mxml, nogo.

I’m not sure what’s up with that. I’m a Cubase user, but I thought there was a way to import xml files into Logic. You may have to open that file and copy the names into a format that Logic understands. I’m looking into this some more and I’ll see what I come up with.
