Hi,
Please help!
I can connect my MX49 to LogicPro via USB but for some awful reason I can't the MX49 in a live situation because there isn't any volume coming out of the Left and Right channels!
Is this a hardware issue or can it be resolved with updates or settings?
Please help!!

No updates are necessary for the MX49 to send audio to its LEFT and RIGHT Outputs. Every single one that comes from the factory does that (even without connecting to a computer)!
With that fact... we can conclude that you have not properly setup your MX49 with your computer and its software. Please detail what you have done or follow the "getting started" articles here on Yamaha Synth.

If you have specific questions following reading the basics, post back here. Yes we know it is not specific to LogicPro, but computer software that you use will address things in very a similar manner.
