Hi I'm using a Mx49 and have boss fs 6 trs foot controller

Can I use it to change performance up and down?

I read the user manual and reference guide and checked the keyboards menu but no luck.

Tried the change utility/controller/fc1, fc1 but nothing happens. All I got is part 1 rev send 23 when I press the footswitch.

I can use the expression pedal (also a boss) just fine but can't figure this one.

I read the user manual and reference guide and checked the keyboards menu but no luck.

See Page 67 of the MX Reference Manual.

The FS (Foot Switch) can be assigned to any cc number 1-95 and a bunch of dedicated switch functions... among them “PC Inc” (Program Change Increment, and “PC Dec” (Program Change Decrement).

We recommend a Yamaha pedals for best results. The FS jack if used for PC Increment requires a TS Foot Switch.

from the manual.....
NOTE
An FC4A or FC5 connected to the [SUSTAIN] jack can be used to start and stop the Song/Pattern by setting this parameter to “Play/Stop.” Also, an FC4A or FC5 can be used to switch Performances by setting this parameter to “PC inc”/”PC dec.” Keep in mind that the sustain function cannot be used in these cases.

I see the I can use the sustain pedal input for that purpose but only for increment and decrement not both.

And I cant use the foot controller input for that purpose because they only go up to 95 not 100 so no performance change inc/dec for me.
