what sounds on the Yamaha mx49 would you use to make the jump sound by van helen.

Use the sound named "After 1984"... It's in the Category Brs (brass), Sub Category Synth. Any true Van Halen fan knows the song 'after 1984' on the sixth Van Halen album was called "Jump"... get it? 🙂

After 1984 is ok but the best one is under synth lead number 59 Space Power Lead. That sounds more like that Oberheim sound. I just recently got the MX49 and have not played keys in years (mainly guitar) and am after more great 80s synth sounds. I find that though this synth has many, it is lacking in those 80s sounds much like you are after. Does anyone know if it possible to download patches and what not I truly am a noob and have no idea.
