You can go to europe.yamaha.com and check the manufacturer recommended prices for the Montage and MODX.
Then go to Thomann's site and check the actual shop price.
I really doubt a MODX6 can go lower than 1000EUR, considering the package.

I agree, and considering that some 19-26% of the price are just taxes I wonder what the profit might be, if any.
