in other words, can the reface be a midi interface? I want to send midi notes from my DAW to the reface. Then, i want to send the same notes to my moog using the midi out of the reface and the midi in of the moog.

No, it cannot. The MIDI OUT on the reface transmits what you play on the reface keys or generate with the reface front panel.
