Do I have to program my sustain pedal to my Motif xf to make it work?

There are settings to take advantage a specific pedaling technique. But not all sustain pedals are going to work with your Motif XF - we recommend Yamaha pedals.
Press [UTILITY]
Press [F1] GENERAL
Press [SF1] PLAY
Set Sustain Pedal to match the pedal type you have.
Yamaha FC3 or FC4/5
