I am looking to move on from my MO8 just because it's heavy, and move to a lighter controller or digital piano.
What is the least expensive model that I could use to backup/retain the patches I created?

If you want MO8 sound without an MO8 the Reface keyboards are probably not the way to go.
I suspect your question is better seen in a different category section of the forums here?
