Hi, I'm using my Yamaha keyboard to play thru an external midi device, the keys are sending a signal, but my sustain pedal is not working with the midi device. Actually the midi device is not receiving a signal at all from the sustain pedal. How can I fix this?

Hi Brock,
You'll have to provide some details.
"My Yamaha keyboard"... I don't want to mention just how many different keyboards we make but it's a lot!
"midi device" ... is an unknown...
So either your Yamaha keyboard is not sending Sustain, or your external MIDI device is not receiving Sustain. With the information you've provided, that's all we can tell you. Sorry.
