I love my Reface YC and my Reface CP. And I'd buy them all over again if Yamaha made a Reface Pro line with, say, at least 61 full size keys. I can see adding a few more features, as well, but not so many as to blow the price beyond reasonable. Kind of curious what other people would want in a Reface Pro line.
I know I can easily hook my current Reface keyboards up to a controller. I *do* that. But I like to gig with both of these...And that makes my set-up a bit more complicated. If I had the Reface Pro I've envisioned, I'd have the Pro YC and the current CP sitting on top of it. Or maybe I'd do it the other way around...Probably not, though, as the red on the Reface is pretty striking. I'd love to put it on this stand - http://usa.yamaha.com/products/musical-instruments/keyboards/accessories/kb-stands/l3c/?mode=model - which looks pretty darn close to the old Yamaha YC combo organ stands that I have. I own a few YC-20s, a YC-25D, and a few YC-30s. And I love them all...But I'm at the point where my back is not a fan of lugging them around. I was thrilled when the Reface line was announced and have been VERY happy with the YC (which I got as a gift from my wife when they came out) and am quite enjoying the CP she got me for Christmas.
But yes, I'd love a Reface Pro line. So...What would others want in one? Yamaha, is there any way to convince you?
That would be amazing. You could even offer them in a choice of finishes; black, white or red.

I'd always go for the red. So striking and beautiful.
The ultimate of course would be all four refaces, on a fully splittable and layerable keyboard, preferably of 76 keys.
I would also like to see either in the mini or a pro size, a rompler or mellotron type reface.

This would be interesting, although now you're getting pretty much into the Nord price range.
If they had to be combined in order to get a full-size Reface Pro, I'd probably be more interested in putting the YC and CP together and the DX and CS together.
Another thing I'd probably like in the YC and CP lines would be an extra spot or two that could be used to download extra sounds. (So for the YC, you;d be able to download a Philicorda, a Gibson G-101, or a Panther. For the CP, you'd be able to throw in a Hohner Pianet N, a Wurlitzer 112 or 145, etc.)
I've seen the other thread on this, but as this is a year old at this point, I wonder if anyone else has any thoughts on a Reface Pro, should Yamaha ever decide to do it.
As for me, the coupling of the YC and CP seems perfect.
Actually to be honest, a coupling of the CP and YC, provided the hidden acoustic piano was a preset, with full sized keys would be pretty hard to say no to.
So practical and functional it would be crazy!
