Why is the S80 left out of the S70/S90 category? Black sheep of the family?
Let's show the mighty S80 some love.

Hi Joel,
Welcome to Yamaha Synth!
The S80 (1999) came out in the last century, and I guess would be included in the "Vintage Yamaha Synth" heading, not the black sheep, but simply much, much older than the rest. We cannot have a forum heading for every synth. Currently available synths have a Forum Category, synths not currently available but from this Century are covered in the "Legacy Yamaha Synths" forum (MOX, Motif ES, Motif XS); and I guess we'd have to consider the S80 a 20th Century synthesizer... At least that is how this site was designed initially.
