Request to community members having Soundmondo browser issues

Hello Soundmondo community:

We are doing our best to resolve issues with Soundmondo.

If you are having issues we will need the following information:

- Your platform and OS version (like "MacOS Sierra 10.12.5")
- The version of the Chrome browser you are using (located under Chrome/About Google Chrome-something like "Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)"

Remember: In order to save and sync your reface to soundmondo you must first create an account and log in.

Please provide as much detail beyond "soundmondo isn't working. I can't login". We need as much detail as possible.

Thanks for your patience and rest assured we are working on it.

-Win7 Home Premium 64bit
-Chrome: Version 59.0.3071.86 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)
-Yes i have an account
-ItΒ΄s not possible to send sounds to the reface CS
-Reface is connected with an USB Cable
-Soundmondo shows "connected"
-itΒ΄s possible to create sounds and the Faders in chrome notice the movements from the reface CS

Cannot sync my reface DX. Hit sync button and it just loads the save voice fields, no synth.
OSX El Capitan 10.11.6
Chrome: Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)
Created Soundmondo account, registered and logged in.

Have you tried clearing the cache in Chrome? Under Chrome/About Google Chrome/Settings/Advanced/Privacy and Security/Clear Browsing Data. You can choose the elements you want to clear. Try clearing your cache and try again. This has helped some users. Thank you for the feedback.

Chrome Version 59.0.3071.86 (Official Build) (64-bit)
I do have a Soundmondo account and have been logged in.

My Reface CS shows as connected on the Soundmondo site, but when I browse to a sound and try to sync it, it goes to the save sound page.

When I tried the workaround (Flip an experimental flag at chrome://flags/#use-winrt-midi-api to Enabled) the Reface would only show as Disconnected.

My DX is directly connected via USB to my Mac Pro running MacOS Sierra (10.12.5) and I am using the latest Chrome version (60.0.3112.78 (64-bit)). The site recognizes my DX after allowing Chrome to use my MIDI devices, but I can't sync or create any sounds. When I click sync I'm also directed to the "create a voice" page and when creating a voice nothing happens after clicking save.

Hey guys, currently on MacOS Sierra (10.12.5) and the latest Chrome version (60.0.3112.101) (64-bit). I have my CS connected with usb-cable and Soundmondo recognizes my synth but i Can't sync any sounds or create any sounds. The picture of my Synth isn't showed on the top of the page when creating a sound. Please resolve this issue as I believe it is a good reason for my many people bought the synths in the first place. Good Luck

First - we really, really apologize for the inconsistency that Soundmondo has required its users to endure recently. Soundmondo is built for you, and when the users suffer - there are obviously no winners involved. There's been some 'under the hood' issues due to a variety of things, but as of this week - we have a dedicated team ensuring these issues get addressed, and moving forward - we'll be dedicating more resources to making Soundmondo the absolute best tool it can be. We'll update you ASAP on when these issues have been resolved. Once again - thanks for letting us know, and also once again - we're extremely sorry for the frustration. We'll do our best to make this right.

Currently on MacOS Sierra, I have created an account, registered my Reface DX, Everything is synced to my computer being a iMac. The green light on Soundmondo in Chrome is lit. And I even updated my Refaces software from 1.01 to 1.30 it all worked well. But can't browse or save sounds on to soundmondo. It just doesn't give me access to any of that fun stuff I wanted to do. πŸ™

We've made some adjustments and tested - and Soundmondo appears to be back on track based on those changes. Please clear your cache on Chrome and try it out. We appreciate your patience and help! If you continue to run into issues, please let us know.

I am having the same issues as Martin. Same version of Chrome but on Windows 7. It was working ok last week so browser update issue?

Same issue as Martin above.
Chrome: Version 63.0.3239.108 (Official Build) (64-bit) - Ubuntu Linux
I see the same on Windows 10 and actually also on Android.

Just bought the Reface DX and one of the factors where the ability to have a library off the instrument.
I should of course have researched more and not just trusted your sales material,
but it was hard to check because the site only allow access to create when hardware is attached.
And now after trying to find a solution I find that the soundmondo site have been not working for the better part of the past year or more?

I like the hardware, please do not make me regret going for Yamaha because the tool so use it are badly supported and neglected.
At least release the source for the tools and firmware to allow us to do a community tool if you are already abandoning the reface product line.

p.s. Let me know if you need more screenshots.. Also note that there are connection errors on your fonts.com css url..

Maybe all your developers should clear THEIR cache so they are not using a cached version of a missing resource and therefore cannot reproduce the issue?

Might be nothing but this is the url that get a 404 on the create page. It could be messing up things..
