After big effort following differentes articules about how soundmondo on Chrome sync to my keyboard(ck61), it was working and was able to "donwload" different sound sets, I left my computer(windows 11) for a few hours and come back trying to continue but now the synch buttons is disabled again. What had been changed?, why the Soundmondo synch is so complex and not stable. Please any help or method to make this work all the time.
Does your Windows 11 machine have more than one MIDI port? If so, when you got it working - has the CK61 been unplugged and plugged back in? If so, did it get plugged into the same USB port?
I don't know about Windows 11 ... or the CK ... But for Montage and MODX they had an additional problem to all of the other stumbling blocks whereby changing USB ports would create a different identifying name for the keyboard and ... although most software dealt with this Soundmondo never did. Not sure if they fixed this -- Yamaha has certainly been informed. But if it hasn't been fixed AND the CK is impacted by this (I don't know) then this could be the issue. Lots of ifs here.
The way to fix this is to unplug the keyboard. Uninstall the Yamaha Steinberg USB driver. Reboot. Reinstall the driver. Plug in the CK. Don't ever move the CK or unplug it. Or ... if you do ... plug it into the same USB port. And if this messes up again due to the same problem then go through the driver uninstall dance again.
Not saying this is your issue - but if it is then you can fix it.
