Where do OS updates originate from for Yamaha and why on Tuesday or Wednesday if coming from Japan?

The livestream is scheduled for 4 pm eastern time on Tuesday, the 22nd, I believe. No indication as to whether further information will or will not be available prior to that. So you may have to wait another 22 hours or so...

Do you think the livestream has anything to do with the official release? I'd think those are separate entities or is this the norm?
I might be dreaming but one time I thought a release came late one Monday night officially before Tuesday but then depends on the continent.
