Hi,
Is it possible to vary the tremolo depth of the Rhodes preamp via the mod wheel?
This wasn’t available when I bought the CP4 years ago, but perhaps Yamaha have fixed this with a software update?

As far as I know, LFO Speed is the only Assignable parameter in the Tremolo Effect Type. And that still is the case.
In general, you should always check in for product updates - they are accessible through the main Yamaha site, by navigating to the Product’s own page and following that local link to the Downloads. If you go to the general Download area you just select the product. Updates often include new features in addition to any bug fixes.

I just checked and there’s no update since 2014. This is disappointing as something like tremolo depth via mod wheel is a pretty standard requirement. I would expect this on Yamaha’s “greatest ever stage piano”.
Perhaps you can put in a request for all users?

An argument could be made for TREMOLO SPEED as well, just saying.

It doesn't look like it can be done. But I was able to put a slow tremolo on effect A, and a fast one on effect B. Then I can choose from none, slow, or fast.
