....to put in the market a new machine, a hardware sequencer looper midi that could be set for the montage and fill up this missing feature. I have been searching an hardware midi seq loop and I don't find. The only one that have requested functions is the squarp pyramid but I don't like the design, the screen is too small and no rvb pad and quite expensive. Moreover, it is an ingenious but small new company and I am worry about warranties and after sell services. So I thing really that Yamaha have a great opportunity to launch a new great machine for thus who don't like bring their computer on stage.Title.

I know this post sounds like a "geek Santa claus request " but the 21 st century is still waiting for its midi sequencer looper hardware.

This might sound strange but what about a MPC (hardware) even tho out of production you can still find them ?
Would that work with Montage some of them have so cool features .

Nice feature the FA! I would like to see that in a montage or in a dedicated hardware. step sequencing is good to have too.
Unfortunatly, I don't think Yamaha wiil implement these functions we miss on montage either because it is not possible or for some obscure marketing policy. But I enjoy the montage and it is just exciting perspectives. That s why I will order directly to Santa Claus the desktop sequencer built for explode the montage on stage

Ahh FINALLY Sven seems to be getting it. Don't try to turn an instrument into something it's not, use the right instrument for the job. You don't see a carpenter trying to use a hammer to cut a board (and then starting a petition to add a saw feature to the hammer) YOU USE THE SAW. Bravo Sven on your progress here!

May be I am wrong but it looks like Yamaha did not want to provide the cake and the cream in the same package. Of course they have a cream for sell but is it the taste of everyone ?

Taste of everyone? You mean as in "one size fits all"?
No two people create music the same.

"Yamaha did not want to provide.."

You have proof of this? Did you ask them if such was the case?
Or are you just imitating Bernd Out and his one-doofus show?

You are doing my head in, "Scott", or John, or Harry, or Liza, or whoever. I want Montage´s awesome pumping effect of the side chain gate AS WELL AS a basic onboard MIDI recorder worthy of the name, including a simple copy function e.g. Is that too much to ask for for 3 grand? I don´t think so.

You're right, Sven!I paid 40,00 grand for my car but for that money I expect it to float like a boat. Is that too much to ask? DAMN RIGHT IS AIN'T> I'm off to Change.org to get the ball rolling. Cheapskates.
