Should be included with the Montage and MODX from now on, IMO.
I do find bizarre that Yamaha is not mentioned at all, and that they themselves have no news release on this.
Doesn't support SysEx, yet, so not a complete solution for Montage/MODX.
But it's coming soon, according to their forums.
The press release came out today.
I also notice a crossgrade option from Camelot which was marketed with some amount of "partnering" with Yamaha. So that may be "sticky".
I think a full court press release by business units outside of Steinberg on the same day as Steinberg's announcement is a big ask. I'm sure there will be some tutorials using it with Yamaha gear coming.

That looks like the terms of an aquire-hire deal involved releasing their software.
On the other end of the scale, this is revelatory - CLAP: an open source plugin/host API and system, complete with thread pooling, via Bitwig and u-he in the driver's seats:

According to the release notes, the latest update (1.0.20) adds SysEx support.
