I have a song with every part in my mix (except one) balanced and blending together to my liking. Problem - the last part - reserved for live melody over my mix, just doesn't stand out enough even at its maximum volume. Before I start lowering all the other parts one by one, is there a way to lower all other parts in unison, like a master volume controlling everything except my one solo part?

No, there is not.

I would look to increase the output of the Voice that occupies the live melody Part.
There are many ways to do this, by editing the VOICE itself... VCE ED.

Give us an idea of what you are working with for the melody Part.

As is often the the case, I have a hard time finding the best substitute when its really vocals that should be carrying the melody. I am using a preset - piano which does cut through nicely. I don't put too much reverb on it to keep it out in front of everything else. just need a little more volume when the song builds up in parts. I will look to the output setting in voice and see it I can't pull it out enough that way, THX

When editing the Voice (in Voice Mode, or via the VCE ED option in your Mixing setup) you can increase the gain using the Voice’s own Volume setting, using the Insertion Effects (many of the Insert Effects include a “Output Level” adjustment)... it’s been 14 years since I have edited an ES). Within the Voice’s Element Edit area, there is an Element EQ (yes, each Motif ES Element has its own EQ) that EQ can be configured as a 3-band EQ, 2-band EQ or as a straight level BOOST. This can be used to significant increase the overall Output level of the Voice... and used with care can greatly increase the presence of your lead sound without disturbing the rest of your mix.

Output and Element level EQ are GREAT options that should give me the extra boost.... Can I also add a Master Effect - a multi-band compressor to my final mix, minus the lead part, or are all Master Effects always an all part or no part effect?

Master Effect is always applied to all Parts.
You can use the Part’s Insertion Effect to significantly boost the signal... you can apply a Multi Band Compressor as a Part Insertion Effect on the melody instrument. Any Compressor can give you significant boost in output level. Cuidado!
