Hi,

I use my MOX6 with my MX49 live and occasionally I find myself in situations where I only have one input on the house amp and I don't always have a mixer with me.

In these instances I'd like to be able to plug the MX49 into the MOX6 via the AD input. I play the MOX6 in master mode accessing song/pattern mode or just in performance mode by itself.

Will the AD input function in master mode while accessing a song/pattern?
I found a good article on the MOXF here, just couldn't find the specific info on the MOX.

Thanks!
Ben

Yes. All articles on the MOXF, except those referring to the Flash Boards, apply to the MOX. Master is just a mode to organize the others... you setup the Audio input in the Song or Pattern MIXING... Store the SONG or PATTERN, then return to your MASTER.

Plug the L/R audio outputs of the MX to the A/D Inputs on your MOX
The default setting for MIC/LINE is LINE - this is what you need.

If you have other questions, post back here.

Do I have to change the settings for each song/pattern or can I just change the general settings for song/pattern mode?

The UTILITY mode setting for MIC/LINE is global and will be set for the entire MOX.
[UTILITY] > [F1] GENERAL > [SF6] OTHER

You can customize the settings for the AUDIO IN PART on a per SONG/PATTERN basis, applying different Effects, changing the stored volume, pan position, etc.
Press [MIXING] > [EDIT] > [COMMON] > [F5] A/D IN
