I'm sure someone must have asked this. Is it possible to have different drum patterns on different scenes.
For example jazz brush kit with swing beat on scene one and on scene two rock kit with stand 2 4 beat?

Sure, you can... but... how you work is subjective and open for you to decide how you want to work.

Here’s some facts that may help you decide the best way to proceed:
When you select a Pattern, 001, there are 8 Scenes. Each with 16 Tracks.
A Pattern would be the equivalent of the musical composition.
A Scene would be the equivalent of a section of that composition measured in Measures 1-256 in length
A Track is the MIDI data you perform when you have selected to record
Each Pattern is associated (linked) to a Performance.
A Performance would be the equivalent of the band

So you are asking, can the drummer switch from a jazz brush kit to a rock kit... well, technically, the answer is yes.
This would be best handled by hiring a second drummer for the band... (remember you can have 16 musicians in the band)
_what that means, because drummers are particularly clumsy, don’t ask them to get up from one kit, and move to another between the verse and the chorus — they’ll trip over the bass players cable!

No seriously, you’d want to place the Jazz kit in one Part of the Performance, and the Rock Kit in another Part... reason you want to avoid having to use Bank Select and Program Changes between sections of the composition.

You can define how you use Sections, but setup is easy: there are 16 Parts to a Performance, there are 16 Tracks. Each Part has its own dedicated Track. The Jazz Kit will have its own Track. The Rock Kit will its own Track.

All Scenes of a Pattern share the same Tempo
All measures of a Scene share the same Time Signature
What the drums play is entirely up to you, swing, backbeat, shuffle, etc., etc.

Short story: Yes. You can change which Kit is playing from Scene to Scene.
