A couple of days ago I posted here about this but got no reply from yamaha rep. So I deleted the post. However I am posting again because I just found this youtube which is exactly the same issue and several others have it too it seems.
My question again... can this be fixed so it wont happen again or is it a design flaw that will come back? This time a valid and helpful response from yamaha is in order I think.

Sorry, you are having an issue with your keyboard. Your first step should be to contact the authorized Yamaha dealer from whom you purchased the instrument. They will be able to advice you on the next step. They are qualified to make a decision on what needs to happen. They want you to be happy, Yamaha wants you to be happy.
