I'm reading really positive comments about the OS update v1.2 for Yamaha's YC series, and the demos sound impressive. The MODX (and Montage) would certainly benefit from a better rotary effect simulation.
Is there any chance that this new 'studio' rotary speaker will be made available to MODX/Montage users, or is this (technically or commercially) highly unlikely?

I don't see why it wouldn't be technically feasible - but there may be other reasons why Montage/MODX doesn't get some great feature offered on other current production Yamaha keyboards.
Futures will be difficult to gather much information about.
At one point there was plenty of feedback about the Montage/MODX rotary speaker - similar to what was seen earlier in YC. I'm not sure how that translates now that there's a well received alternative available (yet on a different keyboard).
