Hi,
While working on the previous topic I ran into this one so I opened a new topic.
This is more a luxury problem, but perhaps there is a solution. When your song or pattern chain ends, the sequencer automatically returns to bar 1, and in my case to scene one also, which has different parts enabled than scene 8 I play at the end of the pattern. The sequencer stops there but we hold that last chord with the band for a minute or so, you know :p So I need the settings of scene 8 for that. I could program a scene of 256 bars with no sequencer data in it so we can hold the chord as long as we want, but then I would have to sacrifice a scene for that (and I already used all the scenes) And second, it's stupid I know, but after we hold that last chord I would have to manually stop the sequencer to be able to select a different performance, and I know I will forget that only the first 20 shows or so π
So here's my question:
Is there a way to not make the sequencer automatically return to bar 1 when the song or pattern chain ends?
Thanks!
Stef

This is true... and is what they call a tautology... in logic, this is something that is always going to be true. Which means you must adjust or comply.
Extend your Scene 8 to include your End measure.
Itβs the same kind of thing as your previous question... if you are not ready to lock in the Length of things to create your Chain, you cannot use that feature.
I bet it only takes embarrassing yourself twice before you ALWAYS remember to STOP THE SEQUENCER. π
