The library and user backup (.X7L, .X7U) analysis tool has been updated to support larger file sizes (650MB, theoretically). I have tested the Chick Corea set which is around 450MB works using the online tool.

This was useful for me to see how many new waveforms the Chick Corea Mark V set should use as the data in the file seems to conflict with published information. I have not yet received clarification from Yamaha why this is.

Feel free to use this tool to take a look at your own files. Originally it was developed to help a user with issues remembering what performances were stored in their own user files. It may also help other users see how many resources will be needed as well.

This work is done in spare time, so the page will evolve slowly adding more features along the way.

Updated the tool again - saw that the check for file extension wasn't working (was not allowing files to be uploaded for analysis).

Also added feature to extract out live-set information from a library or user file.

Note: earlier in the year, the X7U and X7L tool went down. That was fixed about a month ago and the system is back online.

There are no new additions and the tool is fairly basic/early in development. I have no motivating factor to spend too much time on this, so features will be (very) slowly added.
