Hi, I am unable to control the volume of part 4 with the superknob and simply cannot figure out why. Can someone help me please? The performance is attached.

The 'attachment' isn't accessible.

What steps did you take to assign volume to a common knob?

The usual causes are 1) the volume is already being controlled by another controller, 2) you assigned volume to a part knob but that part knob wasn't assigned to a common knob, 3) you have already maxed out the number of assignments allowed.

Please post the details. If you are using a preset performance please tell us which one it is.

Bad Mister wrote an excellent article on how to make knob assignments: 'Mastering MODX: Assignable Knobs

Is Part 4 using all 16 destinations and is just "full" and cannot add another Source/Destination pair?

Is there something else in Part 4 that's controlling volume and thereby overriding your attempts to control it?

(Even though I can't open them ...) I appreciate the route you were trying to take - uploading the performance for anyone to try themselves. I sure wish the attachment system here wasn't so user unfriendly.

You'll need to put the file on the web on a hosting site and then provide the link here.
