There's no VL or AN sound generators inside Montage.:o It's only AWM2 and FMX with a whole new sound motion control system to make you really, really dizzy. 🙂

In previous pdf presentation of montage, we can see four dots suggesting there will be more tone generators.

I had fs1r and still have an1x. Fs1r can simulate some va sounds and some sounds of an1x were programmed on fs1r but... Still very different beasts.
Having both and a vl coud turn montage into an irresistible performer.
An1x still is one of the most charming VA.
VL was great too, too bad this technology is forgotten.

Yeah, I can't stop wondering about

1) the four dots
2) Blake Angelos' statement that "things will be... evolving" (from SonicState interview at NAMM)

A promise of a multitimbral AN1x engine would put me on a pre-order list instantly!
