Hi mister bad here’s my setup Logic X on MacBook Pro a montage 7 and a couple of midi such a MPC 3000 and midi racks do I need a midi interface? how can I hook them all together in order to record know that I’m using
USB to host the computer

The MONTAGE 7 has a built-in MIDI interface and a built-in Audio interface. You do not need one for the MONTAGE. You simply need to go to the Yamaha MONTAGE product page and download the “Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver for MacOS”

You connect the MONTAGE “To Host” port to your computer using a standard USB cable and the appropriate Apple adapter for your particular MacBookPro.
