Wow thanks to Bad Mister for clearing up some confusion on the Montage being used with a control surface midi in (not sure why it was so much confusion in the 1st place )
I ordered a MΓ©nage 8 , Opps I''m sorry I mean a Montage 8 .
I'm so excited I feel like Yamaha made her just for me .
I guess I should stop looking out the window every 2 minutes for the delivery truck , I fell like a little kid , haven't felt that way in a while .

To other Montage users , what's the 1st thing I should do with her when she gets here ?

Any suggestions , really ?

Live long and prosper my friends

Prepare for a mind melding and "pon farr" sound session with your ears and mind.

Rapturous emotions of joy and serendipity that your Vulcan disciplines will find hard to control.

Next, MIDI up the Vulcan Harp!!!!!!

Go where no musician (of any species) has gone before.............

Ciao,

Craig

remain calm.. don't panic.. plug into something that will give you a rich clear "stereo" sound (good quality headphones, monitors, PA)..hit the power button, relax.. melt your face!

Yea tell me about it , I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow at least I was able to get a good deal on a bunch of accessories and foot pedals which seem to be vital to free you up to do other things .

I hope for you that when you do it, you're using protection.
Dust floats about everywhere and the montage sits and
bares it all. I have it covered all the time when not behind it.
its the first synth of this price class so I want it to be safe. πŸ˜‰
