My Montage 8 does not fully power on. The only thing that comes up is the screen. None of the other lights come on and it has no sound. Doesn't do it all the time but seems to be getting more frequent. Anyone experiencing this problem? thanks Ron

It also happened to me twice but it hasn't happened again in a long while. There are several threads concerning this already. Yamaha is on it now. I don't use the power button either. I use a remote power cut-off switch which doesn't seem to bother the Montage.

It's happened to me once or twice on my Montage 7, but I just powered it off and back on and it was fine.
