For some reason, when I turn on my MacBook Air, Cubase automatically loads and opens, which takes time and is uneeded. How can I re-set Cubase Elements AI to open only when I tell it to? I would call Steinberg on this but not sure they would recognize it as a tech question which is what they handle. Can you help, Bad Mister? Thanks John

Actually, this may be an APPLE tech question - you have to have setup something in your Mac to tell it to launch a specific program on power up. Search Apple Support.

The Steinberg support tech emailed me. The steps to remove Cubase from opening on turning on an Apple computer
1. click on apple on upper left
2. go to system preferences
3. users and groups
4. click on your user which should be the admin
5. click on log in items
6. locate cubase and select to remove
