I upgraded my laptop to a new Macbook pro running Sonoma amd Cubase 14 from a Mac Pro (2013) running Cubase 11. With the old computer running I was able to run my XF8 (audio and control) via firewire easily.

Im very happy with the XF. Its noy an old machine. I can use it as a simple midi keyboard with the new macbook and C14. However, I cannot get it to connect via firewire at all. Not can Inuse its remote functions to control cubase.

Is there a workaround?

Has anyone got this combination working?

If so, how?
