how to edit voice elements in performance mode while playing live??
You have to *edit* the Voice, in Voice Mode, in order to Assign Controllers... once assigned, STORE the Voice to the User Bank, then place that User Voice in your Performance.
A Voice placed in the Part of a Performance, maintains the Controller assignments (and the Insertion Effects) that were made when the Voice was created.

No, that’s not what that means at all... because you most certainly can
It means if you want Element Control, you must program it to the VOICE in Voice Mode... then put that edited Voice in your Performance.
If you’d like specifics please provide which Voices are in your Performance... we’d be happy to show you.
