I'd also appreciate if Yamaha would take such an approach. But as it seems by now, these additional HD effects will only be reserved for those owning a Motif XF. Yamaha already stated that there has to be a reasonable difference between the XF and his little brother MOXF, even though such effects might be theoretically implemented there as well. In fact, as a MOXF owner you must always verify if such HD effects have been programmed when loading a native XF library, otherwise the sound experience on your MOXF will not be exactly "as intended by the programmer". Unfortunately most of the current vendors will not explicitly mention the usage of such XF OS V1.5 related HD effects. So I guess MOXF users have to deal with that drawback, unless Yamaha is willing to release a "last update" before this gear is also going to be discontinued.

Exactly. They should really do it now since Motif XF is already dicontinued and for the sake of claimed 100% Motif XF libraries compatibility if nothing else. Bad Mister, please pass this request on 🙂
