Note repeats on velocity switch samples possible?

For example: Waveform 1 of a Normal Voice includes samples that are layed out chromatically across the keys (each key gets its own sample assigned) and all are set to be triggered at 0 - 40 velocity range. Is it possible (with a custom pre sequenced arpeggio I suppose ?) to make note repeats (preferably in legato style) of those samples when keys are hit at 0 - 40 velocity range? I would of course like to do the same for Waveforms 2 (41 - 70), 3 (71 - 110) and 4 (111 - 127 vel. range) of the same Voice.

Sorry, it is not clear about what you are envisioning here. If all ranges of velocity repeat, does it matter, what the velocity is... Can't you just place the Voice in an Effect that has multiple repeats. I mean, you take the time to specify the specific ranges - do these ranges have significance in what you want to happen?

Also I'm having trouble with note repeats that are "legato style" - please explain what you mean here.

Hi, Bad Mister! Basically I just want a simple note repeat feature while holding the key(s) down as is found on AKAI MPCs but it has to work on all Waveforms of the Voice so that they get switched by velocity just as they normally do. Can this be done with just an effect, if so, which one? Also, repeats need to be synced to the tempo of the song / pattern and with options to choose different time signatures like 8th note triplets for example. By legato I meant that there should be no silence gaps between repeated notes so that note quantize values are of whole note length ( is it also called note gate time of 99 or 100% ? )

You mention the the Akai MPC, the repeat feature there works so that as you apply pressure to a pad you can have it trigger a sound like the hihat. As you add pressure it increases the output. If that is what you mean, no. Sorry.

Hi, no I don't need aftertouch part of AKAI note repeat feature ( I know MOXF doesn't have aftertouch) but only a part when a note repeats itself over and over again (at desired quantized setting, 8th triplets for example) from the point the key is pressed down and until released. Also, since I would like to actually have 4 velocity switch samples stacked per key I need note repeat to work just as usual when no repeat is used, that is, to repeat correct sample according to initial key press touch force that matches its Waveforms velocity range.

Sounds like you could do that with an arpeggio.

Hi, Bad Mister! Just one more thing. Does Level (Level Velocity Sensitivity) parameter set to 0 also work on these arpeggios (If all ranges of velocity are set to repeat) just the same as normally so that correct repeated notes sound according to the velocity and all at the same max volume regardless velocity? If yes, can this setting along with the arpeggio also be recorded into for example track 1 and then I record different non-arpeggiated Voice on track 2 and so on? Thank you !!!

Level Velocity Sensitivity set to 0 will ensure that all Keybanks will trigger at the volume fixed for that sample. There will be no adjustment to the output level. The level as set for the sample is what is output. A "sensitivity" setting is a response. The "velocity" with which you strike the key is input and will determine which KEYBANK will sound. The Level Velocity Sensitivity ensures how the sample responds when it's velocity range is recalled. By setting this to 0 the response will be fixed to the level setting of the sample... So each velocity range can be fixed to trigger at maximum volume if you wish.
