I don't know what's going on lately but I have several apps that don't recognize my MOXF. Sometimes it's just hit or miss but I have updates to the the most recent Steinberg driver. I provided a screen shot of my audio midi window which shows that it's not highlighted.

What driver? Perhaps you are referring to the Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver? What version?
In your screenshot the MOXF is not selected for any audio duties.

Yes, I'm currently updated to Steinberg USB driver V1.9.10-2 for Mac OS X 10.13-10.9

Where did you find this? News to me about High Sierra compatibility (I’m sure eventually it will be listed as such but I’m unaware of its release. And would love to know where it is posted. Did they post it on the Steinberg site already? Possible, they are the software people...
Either way, you are not using the MOXF as an audio device according to your screenshot.

I'm on Sierra and not High Sierra and I have an audio interface. http://www.yamahaproaudio.com/global/en/downloads/firmware_software/yamaha_steinberg_usb_driver/

Okay, so for audio from the the MOXF connect the main Left/Right output to your Audio Interface.
